“I Don\u2019t Know Why, But I Love Dinos”<\/strong>
<\/strong> By Someone Who Would 100% Let a T. Rex Sleep on Their Couch<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t know why I love dinosaurs.
Maybe it\u2019s the tail swishes. Or the teeth. Or the deep, unexplainable feeling that they might be like dogs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been told it makes more sense that I love lizards. That they\u2019re smaller. Less… extinct. Less \u201cif-they-were-real-you\u2019d-be-dead.\u201d And yeah, I think<\/em> I\u2019d be scared if dinos actually roamed the streets. I mean, I flinch when a pigeon flaps too fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But still \u2014 I imagine them<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And No, I know better than to base my dreams on Hollywood. HAH!.maybe not….
No, in my<\/em> imagination, dinosaurs are like weird, oversized dogs.
They snort when they\u2019re happy. They nudge you for attention. Their scales shimmer in the sun. And they would defend you like their own egg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my Disney-world brain, they\u2019re part watchdog, part best friend.
The kind of creature that curls around your house at night like a giant protective scarf. The kind that would fetch fallen apples, crush your enemies, and then nap in the garden with butterflies on its nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, I know that if dinosaurs came back, some people would ruin it.
They\u2019d try to train them as weapons. Build fences. Patent their DNA.
Make it all a business, because that\u2019s what we do when something is magical and out of reach.
We try to own it. Brand it. Sell it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I\u2019m not better. I\u2019ve made bad choices. I\u2019ve ignored magic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But still \u2014 deep down \u2014 I love dinos.
Not just the creatures.
The idea<\/em> of them.
That once, something so huge and strange and powerful walked this earth.
And now, all that\u2019s left is bones and wonder. And maybe, a few lizards watching us like they remember something we forgot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So maybe that\u2019s it. Maybe that\u2019s why I love them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because they remind me that the world used to be wilder.
And maybe it still is \u2014 if you squint hard enough at the pigeons. Or the geckos.
Or that part of your brain that still believes in thunder lizards and kind monsters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
