Blue

If you ever see an iguana on my page, in book, on a picture. It is because of an iguana named Blue.

Once i was doing nursing for rescue animals in the town that i lived in. I did have a ton of different reptiles – mostly snakes – Something different came in one day. A very tiny iguana with no tail. very slim poor guy

I had him with me in the shower, i made him food. not saying it was like a disney movie, he was mad. but can you blame him?

After a while, he came around, but i didnt, he was of to new good family – and i started to build a giant inclosure in my tiny livingroom. Then came the ‘hunt’. Iguana’s arent that easy to find in Denmark. I came across a young boy, who couldnt take care of his Blue iguana anymore because he was going away for studies, not a bad owner.

Blue was the most loving puppy dog i have ever met!

When i was in the kitchen preparing his greens, i could hear him walk out of his cage to join me. I had a white shepherd at that time. it wouldnt stop him from joining. he would just walk straight over the dog, like he was a bearskinrug or something.

He would sit in the top while i was showering, and follow me in the livingroom to dry. He would always be nice to strangers, even tho he was bigger than a cat, with a tale longer than i can remember. He was someone to remember and someone i will never forget

I love you Blue, you still make me happy. Thanks for being a part of my life
